ABOUT THE ARTISTS IN THE SOLO SHOWS
Chris Martin is an American abstract painter known for his reverse large-format paintings executed on acrylic panels. Chris explains: "Organic Expressionism is a succinct way to describe my process. I start with a clear acrylic panel and apply heat, wind, water, brush, and pigment in a reverse order to create my paintings." Chris has championed his technique for almost three decades. Through his galleries, Chris has created a platform to showcase a talented group of mid-career artists with dedicated studio practices and help launched some artists successful careers.
In his second body of work, "Wild West," American photographer Steve Wrubel continues his journey of capturing the essence of Rodeo traditions in America with a new twist. This time his visually arresting Rodeo images have evolved to become beautiful expressions of bucking broncs in the wide-open landscapes of the West. Juxtaposing the lone bronc rider with epic skies, Wrubel has created stunning images that connect us with the unique notions of America's mythology.
